In 2009, Team USA had two representatives at the Air Guitar World Championships: 2008 US & World Champ Hot Lixx Hulahan and his arch-rival 2007 & 2009 US Champ William Ocean. In Bjorn Turoque fashion, they tied for 2nd place behind, um, France. 

It was a banner year for American air guitar, yet clearly there is work to be done.
