10th Anniversary Screening of Air Guitar Nation at Austin's Alamo Drafthouse

Air Guitar Nation is regarded by many as the documentary that inspired a nation of creative weirdos to pick up their air axes, don colorful spandex, and rock on stage in the name of world peace.  The official story of how air guitar competitions started in America debuted for the very first time at Austin's Alamo Drafthouse during the 2006 SXSW Film Festival where it won the Audience Award.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, US Air Guitar is excited to announce a very special screening of Air Guitar Nation at the South Lamar Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas on Friday, April 22 at 8:00 PM hosted by our favorite Master of Airemonies and star of the film, Bjorn Turoque.

The film will be followed by an Aireoke competition (that’s air guitar to music-oke) at The Highball where there will be there will be demonstrations by special guests, prizes and fun galore.
