The original programming includes a live stream of all 2015 post season competitions; weekly recaps and highlights from Air Center: The Dirty Chocolate Show; and of course The Magic Cyclops™ Show, starring its eponymous loose-cannon air guitarist who was also the most watched performer of American Idol’s eleventh season. Air Guitar TV will feature How To Air Guitar Videos from the greatest air guitarists in the world, like 2014 U.S. Champion, Airistotle. And of course, our collection of hall-of-fame performances from over a decade of international air guitar dominance. Plus, following our post season live streams, every competitor’s 60-second routine will now be available on-demand for the industry’s most passionate pundits and fans.

THE 2015 U.S. AIR GUITAR CHAMPIONSHIPS - OVERVIEW
U.S. Air Guitar is also pleased to announce this season’s schedule for its coast-to-coast Qualifiers, Conference Finals, and National Finals. This year, our official selection committee reviewed an unprecedented number of bids from cities across the nation before selecting Portland as the official host of the 2015 National Finals. Before advancing to the Finals, up to twenty competitors – from a pool of over 400 across the country – will have to dominate this three-tier tournament taking place in various cities all summer long.
Will boy-next-door Airistotle, the 2012 and 2014 U.S. Air Guitar Champion from Staten Island, pull off an unprecedented three-peat? Will Portland’s own Tony Tapatio leverage his home field advantage and unique pelvic swirl into his first National Title? Or will it be the high brow pantomimes of Boston’s The Marquis, the tassels of Des Moines’ Flyin’ Finn, or the zero-shtick chops of New York’s Windhammer, the purest air guitarist on earth? The stakes are higher than ever – easily two or three times as high – with U.S. Air Guitar implementing every whizzbang, GoPro and magnet the internet has a plug for. And as always, this year’s U.S. Air Guitar Champion will represent the stars and stripes on the World Stage in Oulu, Finland, to compete against 20 other countries in the name of world peace (if you’re holding an air guitar, you cannot hold a gun).
At the Post-Season competitions, Air Guitar Hall of Famer Björn Türoque (star of the cult classic documentary Air Guitar Nation and author of To Air is Human) will return to his post as "Master of Airemonies." Hot Lixx Hulahan (2008 Air Guitar World Champion) will return as our anchor judge. Joining him behind the gavel at Conference Finals across the country – and likely dodging cups of beer hurled by our rabid fans – will be a throng of rotating A-minus-list celebrities from music, television, art and news media. Previous Conference Finals judges include music legends Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) and Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), comedians Jason Sudeikis (SNL) and Jason Jones (Daily Show), tween heartthrobs Willie Geist (Today Show) and Adam Liptak (New York Times Supreme Court columnist), bestselling business author Malcolm Gladwell (Tipping Point, Outliers) and legendary rock critic Ben Fong-Torres (Rolling Stone).
